Throughout the year, the Chamber holds
various events. Below is a brief overview
of our most popular events:
Stakeholder Luncheons
Join Chamber staff and stakeholders for this
quarterly event.
Each luncheon features a guest speaker and
highlights Chamber businesses, programs,
committees and events.
Business After Hours
Typically held on the third Thursday
of every month (except for June, July,
November and December) a stakeholder
will host the event at their business location.
It is an opportunity for stakeholders to
meet and network in an informal
setting. Complimentary drinks and hors devours are provided
by the stakeholder host.
Legislative Forums
By invitation, Chamber stakeholders
meet with state and local elected
officials for a small group discussion.
It is an opportunity for businesses to
be heard on specific issues impacting
them.
Candidate Forums
An opportunity for those running for
positions with the City of Westerville,
City Council and/or the Board of
Education to participate in a panel
discussion with Chamber stakeholders and
the community.
Women in Business
Meaningful and educational
opportunities for women in business.
Programs include four quarterly
luncheons focusing on various topics
related to the needs of women in the
workplace.
Young Professionals
A Chamber group of young
professionals focused on professional
development, networking and community
involvement. Events are held
monthly which include after-hour mixers,
sporting events, and community charity
work, to name a few.
Annual Dinner
A recap of the previous years honors
and accomplishments, as well as an
overview of goals and plans for the
coming year. The event also
includes the announcement of the
Business Person of the Year award.
Election Academy
A program
designed to educate and prepare
individuals to set up and manage a
campaign for a local or state elected
position.
Sensational Spring Social
A business-casual event
featuring a wine and beer tasting and food
represented from
area Chamber member food establishments.
Golf outing
An annual August outing for members
and guests.
Music & Arts Festival
Held every second full weekend in
July, Westerville celebrates the Music &
Arts Festival. It is the largest
outdoor event in Westerville. 2008
marks it's 35th year in the community.
Evening of Elegance
Considered a black-tie/formal affair,
it is the Chamber's largest fundraising
event which features dinner,
entertainment and live and silent auctions.
Proceeds benefit local charities,
local student scholarships and general Chamber
operating costs.
